When I started learning about BIM there were no case studies. No white papers. No webinars.

Wind the clock forward 20 years and we have really good information available and lots of it too!

Maybe sometimes it almost feels like too much?

This challenge was the stimulus for our latest BIM journey.

A year ago we found ourselves starting to interact with roughly 850 companies asking each what they thought of our BIM BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal).

Our mission was to:

simplify BIM planning, scoping, contracting and management — worldwide

The response was overwhelming — however we didn’t get the solution right for a few months. 😟

Making something this complex into something that we are crafting to require zero training is a fun challenge.

The good feedback and the kind pats on the back were motivating.

We chose to listen intently. 👂

We decided to take a continuous improvement approach.

We used every idea you shared with us to improve and simplify the BIM workflow.

There are now lodplanner.com users in over 30 countries, all of whom are working to improve their own BIM planning, scoping, contracting and management processes.

Every day we find ourselves introducing the SmartLeanBIM™ workflow to more BIM teams around the world.

Now to the point of this article.

We’re excited that already hundreds of people have signed up for our webinar — we never dreamed that so many would be ready to join us.
